The Prince of Darkness returns to the spotlight in one of his most personal projects yet. Paramount+ has announced OZZY OSBOURNE: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW, a feature-length documentary chronicling the rock legend’s struggles, resilience, and drive to return to the stage one last time. Produced by Echo Velvet with the Osbournes and MTV Entertainment Studios, the film premieres later this year.

More than a rockumentary, No Escape From Now provides an intimate look at Ozzy’s life since his life-altering fall in 2019. It explores his battles with Parkinson’s and other health struggles, highlighting his enduring humor and passion for music.

“The last six years have been some of the worst I’ve been through,” Ozzy admits. “But making music saved me. I’d have gone nuts without it.”

Directed by BAFTA-winner Tania Alexander, filming began in early 2022 during the making of Patient Number 9, Ozzy’s Grammy-winning album. Cameras continue rolling as he prepares for what could be his final live show, a sold-out performance at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th with his Black Sabbath bandmates.

“My fans have supported me for so many years. I want to thank them and say a proper goodbye,” Ozzy said.

Featuring appearances by Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, Billy Idol, Maynard James Keenan, Chad Smith, Zakk Wylde, Andrew Watt, and Billy Morrison, the film captures Ozzy’s influence and unwavering spirit.

Sharon Osbourne emphasizes its raw honesty. “This film shows the hardships Ozzy has faced and his courage. We hope it inspires others dealing with similar struggles.” Produced by Echo Velvet and MTV Entertainment Studios, OZZY OSBOURNE: NO ESCAPE FROM NOW is a must-watch for rock fans and anyone inspired by resilience. Coming soon to Paramount+.
