Enhypen's Vampire-themed Comeback

Boy group Enhypen released their 4th mini album DARK BLOOD on May 22nd! The mini-album, along with title track "Bite Me," is thematically darker than the group's other releases. "Bite Me" is track that is heavy on the vampire elements, with lyrics such as, "It’s you and me / in this world / Again come to me tie me / If you are goin' to save me / Just come kiss me and bite me."

The concept photos for DARK BLOOD also reflect a sense of vampirism, with an emphasis on black and red colors and mysterious, haunting vibes.

The Enhypen members revealed to Billboard that this comeback is the most unique out of all. Leader Jungwon said, "Our choreography is also very different from our previous ones. It’s very new. Out of everything we’ve done after debuting as ENHYPEN, I think its by far the most original. I think the quality of our video content is even higher this time around. I feel like they’re not going to expect this from us.”

At the media showcase for DARK BLOOD, Heesung stated that "Bite Me" is about how a boy [who] reunites with his destined one [and] realizes that they are bounded by blood and how he wishes to be bitten again [by his destiny]."

DARK BLOOD will be the first in the Enhypen's BLOOD album series according to Bandwagon Asia.

The music video for "Bite Me" was filmed in Poland and is full of gorgeous practical sets, outfits, and lighting. The Enhypen members switch between suits, white hoodies, and luxurious gold-detailed jackets.
