In the Instagram announcement, Bailey said she will be "performing all the songs from [her] new album."
Some of the songs Bailey might perform from her new album In Pieces will most likely include "How Does It Feel" featuring Chris Brown, which was released on February 24th. In Pieces was announced on February 20th when Bailey posted a teaser video with the caption, "IN PIECES 3.31.23." One fan commented if anything will be a surprise on the album since it seemed like Bailey was "dropping everything before the album," to which Bailey replied "oh just you wait my love," with smirking and winking emojis.
In an interview with Essence, Bailey revealed that In Pieces is “everything that I’ve been going through, all the tearing down, people underestimating, telling me I can’t do it — all of those things have gone into the music.” She added that, “The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”
