Aly & AJ drop new single "With Love From"

This morning, Aly & AJ dropped “With Love From,” the lead single from their upcoming album of the same name.

The lush, soft rock jam finds the sister duo contemplating the melancholia of change and growing older. It’s the type of track meant to be played on a late-night drive home, when it’s just you, the road, and your thoughts.

With Love From, to be released next year, will serve as a follow-up to 2021’s a touch of the beat gets you up off your feet gets you out and then into the sun, one of the year’s best albums. And if their new album is anything near as good, Aly & AJ will continue to be one of the most tragically underrated acts in pop music.

In 2020, Aly & AJ released a new version of their 2007 hit “Potential Breakup Song” after it went viral on TikTok. Over the past few years, the duo has been releasing a slew of pop gems that have gone under the radar, such as “Joan of Arc on the Dance Floor” and “Slow Dancing,” and established themselves as a beloved niche act. Hopefully, their new album, along with the new distribution deal they signed with Soundcloud, will continue to bring in more fans.
