Coachella has released its full artist lineup for its 2023 festival! This year’s headliners include Latin singer and rapper Bad Bunny, Korean pop girl group Blackpink, and alternative R&B singer song-writer Frank Ocean.
Bad Bunny will headline on Friday of Coachella Weekend 1 and 2, Blackpink will headline on Saturday, and Frank Ocean will close out both weekends on Sunday. All three artists have performed at previous Coachella festivals, but this year will be their first time having the headlining slots. Blackpink will also be making history as the first Korean pop group and first Korean girl group to be a headliner at Coachella!
In 2021, Goldenvoice President and CEO Paul Tollett said that Frank Ocean would headline Coachella in 2023 after the 2020 festival where Frank Ocean was originally headlining was canceled due to the pandemic. For two years, Frank Ocean fans waited in anticipation for the official release of this year’s lineup and were thrilled to see the confirmation.
Many performers went to Twitter after the lineup announcement to share their excitement such as The Chemical Brothers, Alison Wonderland, and Umi.
Other artists announced to perform this year include: Gorillaz, Rosalía, Charli XCX, Björk, Dominic Fike, and Kali Uchis. Calvin Harris will also “return to the desert” for the first time since headlining Coachella in 2016.
Presale for Coachella 2023 starts on Friday, January 13th at 11 am PT, with a limited amount of passes left for Weekend 1.
Coachella will take place in Indio at the Empire Polo Club fields on April 14-16 for Weekend 1, and on April 21-23 for Weekend 2.
